Taste of Home Taco Bake Ingredients

1 lb Ground beef	1 cn Tomato sauce; (15-oz.)
1 sm Onion; chopped	8 oz Shell macaroni; cooked and
3/4 c Water	1 cn Chopped green chilies;
1 pk Taco seasoning; (1-1/4 oz.)	2 c Cheddar cheese; shredded

Instructions for Taste of Home Taco Bake

In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion over medium heat; drain. Add the water, taco seasoning and tomato sauce; mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in macaroni, chilies and 1-1/2 cups of cheese. Pour into a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through. It filled a 2 quart casserole plus a small (1- serving) casserole. Very good dinner--served it with Mixed Vegetable Salad.
