Tastees Onion Chips Ingredients

Onions (cut into chips)	32 oz Cottage cheese; drained a
BATTER	32 oz Sour cream
3 lb Flour	1/2 ts Celery salt
3 c Water	1/2 ts Onion salt
3 tb Sugar	1/2 c Milk
3 tb Salt (I use less)	1/3 ts Pepper
3 c Milk	1 ts Salt
2 tb Melted Crisco	1 ts Accent (optional)
TASTEES ONION DIP	1 Envelope onion soup mix

Instructions for Tastees Onion Chips

The original source is Tastees Drive-In in Lincoln, Nebraska. I got them when they were published in the Lincoln Journal-Star; and Yes, I have made them so they are TNT: Mix ingredients together. Dip onion chips into batter. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. TASTEES ONION DIP Mix all ingredients together.
