Baptist Pound Cake Ingredients

3 c Sugar 1 c Milk
1 Stick margarine 3 c Plain flour
1/2 c Crisco 1 ts Canilla
5 Eggs, rm temp 1/2 ts Baking powder
Pinch of salt 1 tb Butternut flavoring

Instructions for Baptist Pound Cake

Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening; add eggs, one at a time. Mix well after each. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt; add alternately with milk and flour to first mixture. Add flavorings. Grease and flour pan. Place in cold over. Turn heat to 350F, and bake 1/2 hour. then turn heat to 325F and bake 40 minutes more. Let stand 5 minutes after taking from oven.
