Barbecue Sauce #17 Ingredients

2 md Onions finely chopped 1/4 c Worstershire sauce
1 Clove garlic; finely chopped 1/3 c Finely packed brown sugar
1/4 c Vegetable oil 2 tb Prepared mustard
2 tb Chili powder 1 tb Crushed celery seed
2 c Catsup 2 ts Crushed cumin seed
1 c Vinegar 2 tb Butter or margarine
1/2 c Lemon juice

Instructions for Barbecue Sauce #17

Saute onions and garlic in vegetable oil til golden and tender (about 10 minutes). Stir in the chili powder, cook one minute. Stir in remaining ingredients (except butter). Bring to boil. Lower heat, simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring often. Stir in butter. Makes about 4 1/2 cups. Keeps covered in fridge for months.
