Basic Yellow Cake Ingredients

2 1/2 c Flour	2/3 c Crisco
1 2/3 c Sugar	3 Eggs
3 1/2 ts Baking powder	1/2 c Milk
1 ts Salt	1 ts Vanilla
3/4 c Milk

Instructions for Basic Yellow Cake

Preheat oven to 350? Grease and flour 2 9 inch round pans. In bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt and powder. Add Crisco,and 3/4 cup milk. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Add eggs, remaining milk and vanilla. Beat for another 2 minutes, pour in prepared pans. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until done. Cool, frost as desired.
