Mix together the cake ingredients. Pour into a 13x9 inch pan and bake at 350, 36 minutes. Mix together topping ingredients and beat with a beater then spread on hot cake. 100% would make "Swedish Nut Cake" again.

I have made this cake many times and everyone loves it. I call it Hawaiian Nut Cake because there is nothing Swedish about it. You can mix it up in the pan and save a bowl. The recipe for the Cream Cheese Frosting can be cut down, it's too much for a 9 x 13 cake. I put maraschino cherries and nuts on top.
