Penne with Spinach and Ham Ingredients

Penne
pasta
1/2 ts Crushed
red pepper
3 tb
Olive oil
1 pk (10 oz.) fresh
spinach
,
1 ts
Garlic
-flavored oil
1 lb Smoked
ham
, cut into
1 ts
Salt
1 1/2 c Shredded sharp
Cheddar
Instructions for Penne with Spinach and Ham
1. Cook pasta according to package directions. 2. Meanwhile, combine oils, salt and red pepper in large bowl. 3. Drain pasta in colander, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water. Add hot pasta with reserved pasta water to bowl, tossing with oil mixture, spinach, ham and cheese until spinach wilts and cheese melts. Makes 6 servings.
