Prepare cake according to package directionis and bake in a greased and floured 13-by-9-inch baking pan. Combine crushed pineapple and sugar in saucepan and bring to a boil. Cool slightly. When cake has cooled, poke holes in it with a fork. Pour pineapple mixtrue over it. Prepare pudding mix according to package directions; cool. Spread pudding over cake. Chill.
