Rice Bavarian Ingredients

1 tb Gelatin 1 c Whipping cream
2 c Hot cooked rice 1/4 ts Salt
1 c Sugar 3/4 c Chopped nuts
1 ts Vanilla 8 Candied cherries, chopped
1 1/2 c Milk

Instructions for Rice Bavarian

Soften gelatin in milk. Let stand 10 minutes. Dissolve over hot water. Add hot rice, sugar, and salt. Mix thoroughly. Cool. Add nuts, flavoring, and cherries. Fold in stiffly whipped cream. Pour into molds. If desired, serve topped with whipped cream, candied cherries, and finely chopped nuts. 8 servings. Mrs. W.B. Nicholson, Chapman, KS.
