Ingredients

  • 2 pk (10-ounce) frozen; chopped
  • 2 c Minute Rice; uncooked
  • 1 Onion; chopped
  • 1/2 Stick butter
  • 1 lg Jar Cheese Whiz
  • 2 cn Cream of celery soup
  • 1 c Water
  • 1 cn Water chestnuts; sliced

Preparation

Saute the onion in the 1/2 stick butter until golden. Mix together the cooked and drained broccoli, Minute Rice, onion, Cheese Whiz (instead of Cheese Whiz, you may substitute 1/3 of a large loaf of Velveeta cheese), cans of soup, water and the water chestnuts. In other words, mix all ingredients together. Put in to a large greased casserole dish and bake covered for 30 minutes at 350 F. Serves 8 easily.
