Instructions for Broiled Bluefish with Gin

Date: Sat, 10 Feb 1996 18:39:37 -0500 From: kmeade@ids2.idsonline.com (The Meades) Recipe By : Joan Rosenblatt 1. Put fillet(s) in an oiled baking pan, sprinkle with the juice of the lime, dried onion flakes, pepper and a little melted butter. Let stand for 30 minutes or so. 2. Broil in preheated broiler until nearly done. 3. Pull out of the broiler and pour over gin -- mixed with a little more butter, I think. Return to broiler to flame. Authors Notes: Other possibilities for bluefish: Baked bluefish fillets wrapped in bacon strips Bluefish a la puttanesca: Cover with puttanesca sauce (see a pasta book - tomatoes, black olives, anchovies, capers ...) and bake.
