Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts Ingredients

2 c Fresh Brussels sprouts; 1 tb Margarine;
1/4 c Walnuts; chopped 1/4 ts Ground nutmeg;

Instructions for Brussels Sprouts with Walnuts

Cut the sprouts in half and steam until tender. Meanwhile, saute the walnuts in the margarine until golden. Pour over the sprouts in a serving dish. Sprinkle on nutmeg. 1/4 recipe - 100 calories, 1 vegetable exchange, 1 1/2 fat 6 grams carbohydrate, 4 grams protein, 8 grams fat 44 mg sodium, 27 mg potassium, 0 cholesterol Source: Am. Especially liked the walnuts! I'm going to add this to my traditional Thanksgiving side dishes. Excellent and just a little different.

Delicious - I love the addition of nutmeg. I used leftover bacon fat instead of margarine for extra flavor. I would recommend a little bit of salt (but you could let people add this themselves at the table).
