Butter-Scotch Ingredients

1/2 c Brown sugar 1/2 c Water
1/4 c Butter or butter substitute 1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Sugar Few grains salt
2 ts Vinegar

Instructions for Butter-Scotch

Combine all ingredients except flavoring. Cover until mixture begins to boil. Boil without stirring to soft crack stage (275 - 280 F). Add flavoring. Do not stir. Pour quickly into well-buttered pan.
