Saucepan Fudge Brownies Ingredients

1/2 c Butter Or Margarine; Melted 1 ts Vanilla
2 oz Chocolate; Unsweetened 3/4 c Flour; Unbleached
1 c Sugar 1/2 c Nuts; Chopped
2 Eggs; Large

Instructions for Saucepan Fudge Brownies

Melt butter or margarine and chocolate in a saucepan. Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup sugar. Blend in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts and mix well. Spread in greased 8 X 8 X 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool; cut into squares. Makes 16 brownies. From Better Homes & Gardens Homemade Cookies Cookbook, via The Home BBS.
