Sausage Stuffed French Bread Ingredients

1 Loaf French bread 1/4 c Milk
1 lb Hot sausage 2 Eggs
1/4 c Chopped celery Sliced Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 c Green pepper; chopped

Instructions for Sausage Stuffed French Bread

Slice loaf of French bread in half; lengthwise and pick out the inside of the loaf. Reserve the crumbs. Cook sausage, green pepper and celery until sausage is brown. Drain. Add bread crumbs to sausage mixture; mix well. Mix milk and eggs together and add to sausage mixture. Place sausage mixture in bread. Top with cheese; put the top of bread on and spread with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. You can use shred- ded sharp Cheddar cheese if desired. Posted to recipelu-digest by "Diane Geary." on Feb 4, 1998
