Savory Grits Ingredients

4 c Water 1/4 ts Salt
1 c Quick-cooking grits, 1 ds Ground red pepper
1/2 c Minced green onions

Instructions for Savory Grits

Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan; stir in grits and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 7 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 cup).
