Instructions for Shepherds Pie #3
Add everything together in a 9" pie shell and cover with mashed potatoes. Bake at 350 until the potatoes are well browned.
Notes: * leftover roast (beef/pork/turkey) or browned ground (beef/turkey) I usually use the Knorr Pepper Sauce mix for the gravy. It has a nice kick. Formatted by RecipeLu. Posted by RecipeLu on Nov 09, 1997

the recipe says a 9 inch pie shell and I''m sure they mean a 9 inch pie plate. A pie crust would not bake in the time it takes to brown the potatoes.

I added some petite veggies -- peas and corns -- for a bit of variety. Next time, I'll try with 1 clove of garlic. Nice recipe for non-chefs like me!
