Pineapple Cheese Dessert Ingredients

Crumb Crust; 9" 1/4 ts Orange or lemon rind; grated
8 oz Can crushed pineapple 3 tb Sugar
3 oz Pkg. lemon or 1/2 ts Vanilla
1 1/4 c Boiling water 1 c Sour cream
3 oz Pkg cream cheese; softened

Instructions for Pineapple Cheese Dessert

Drain pineapple, reserving syrup. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add syrup; cool slightly. Meanwhile, blend cream cheese, orange rind, sugar and vanilla. Combine 1/2 cup jello and the pineapple; set aside. Gradually blend remaining jello into cheese mixture until smooth. Fold in sour cream. Pour into crumb crust. Chill until set, but not firm.
