Shrimp Pilau Ingredients

4 tb Butter 1 tb Flour
1/2 c Finely chopped celery Salt
2 tb Chopped bell pepper Fresh ground black pepper
2 c Medium whole shrimp 3 c Cooked white rice, hot
1 tb Worcestershire sauce 4 Slices fried crisp bacon
1 ts Ground cayenne pepper

Instructions for Shrimp Pilau

Melt the butter and add celery and bell pepper. Cook until soft. Meanwhile, sprinkle the shrimp with Worcestershire sauce and mix cayenne and flour together. Stir shrimp in the flour and add to the butter mixture. Stir and simmer until the shrimp are cooked, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
