flour

Brown sugar

Baking powder
5 sl
Pineapple
3/4 ts
Salt
5 Marachino

Instructions for Pineapple Upside Down
http://ecep1.usl.edu/cajun/des/10140.htm *** Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla; mix well. Melt butter in 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar; stir until melted. Arrange pineapple slices in pan; place cherry in center of each slice. Pour batter over topping.
