Cheese Stuffed Shells Ingredients

1 lb Bulk Italian sausage 1/4 c Grated parmesan cheese
1 lg Onion chopped 1/4 ts Salt and pepper
1 pk Frozen spinach cooked and 1/8 ts Ground cinnamon (optional)
1 pk (8-oz) cream cheese softened 20 Jumbo shell noodles cooked
1 Egg beaten Basic marinara sauce of
2 c Shredded mozzarella cheese; 1/4 c White wine
2 c Shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 ts Dried basil
1 c Cottage cheese 1/4 ts Minced garlic

Instructions for Cheese Stuffed Shells

From: jmchee@goodnet.com (Marina Cheesman) Date: Sat, 3 Aug 1996 09:32:29 -0700 (MST) In skillet brown sausage crumbled and onion. Transfer to large bowl. Allow to slightly cool. Add spinach, cream cheese, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, cheddar, cottage cheese, parmesan. add seasonings. Mix well. Stuff cooked shells, arrange in 13 x 9 in baking dish. Spoon sauce over shells. Reserve some sauce for serving. Cover and bake 40 minutes. Uncover sprinkle with remaining mozzarella, return to oven for 5 - 8 minutes until cheese melts 8 ~10 servings Mm-recipes Digest V3 #209 From the MealMaster recipe list. The recipe has appears to have some parts cut off and is missing instructions and ingredients for the marinara sauce, so we adlibed around it, we also used ricotta instead of cottage cheese. It turned out very good, even our spinach haters approved keeping the recipe.
