Cheezy Ham and Rice Ingredients

1/2 c Green peppers; diced 2 c Cooked ham cut into julienne
1/2 c Cup celery; diced 1 ts Dry mustard
1/2 c Onion; diced 1 ts Garlic salt
2 tb Butter 1/4 ts Red pepper
2 tb Flour 1 ts Worcestershire sauce
2 c Evaporated milk 3 c Cooked rice
1 1/2 c Grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions for Cheezy Ham and Rice

Saut? green pepper, celery and onion in butter over low heat until tender. Blend in flour. Add milk and cook until sauce is thick and smooth, stirring constantly. Add cheese and heat until melted, stirring constantly again. Add ham, mustard, salt, Worcestershire and red pepper. Spoon over cooked rice. NOTES : Splendid for a buffet. Serve in a chafing dish.
