Cherokee Casserole Ingredients

1 lb Ground beef 1/8 ts Thyme
1 tb Cooking oil 1 cn (16-oz) tomatoes
3/4 c Chopped onion 1 cn Cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 ts Salt 1 cn Sliced mushrooms
1 ds Pepper 1 c Cooked rice
1/8 ts Oregano 2 -(up to)
1/8 ts Garlic powder 3 sl Cheese

Instructions for Cherokee Casserole

Brown meat in oil. Add onions & cook until tender. Stir in all other ingredients except cheese. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat & simmer 5 minutes. Spoon into baking dish & lattice cheese on top.
