Sour Cream Cranberry Tea Cakes Ingredients

Flour
5 lg
Eggs
1/2 Teasp
baking powder
1/2 c
Sour cream
1/2 Teasp
salt
1/4 c
Orange
juice
2 1/2 Sticks unsalted
butter
,
2 Teasp
vanilla
1 1/3 c
Sugar
1 1/4 c Fresh
cranberries
1 tb Grated
orange
peel
Instructions for Sour Cream Cranberry Tea Cakes
Heat oven to 325 degrees. Butter and flour 2 - 7X5 inch loaf pans. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and set aside. In large bowl with electric mixer, beat butter until creamy. Add sugar and orange peel and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. On low speed, beat in flour mixture till blended. Beat in sour cream, orange juice and vanilla until well blended. Fold in cranberries. Pour into pans. Bake until golden brown about 1 hr and 20 mins. Cool in pans on wire rack about 10 mins. I'm new to this site, but was so happy to find my favorite cranberry "bread" recipe!! I had lost part of the instructions from a magazine. If you love moist pound cake and cranberries, you'll love this!
