Sparkling Fruit Smoothies Ingredients

1 c Yogurt, plain or	2/3 c Ice-cold champagne,
2 c Chopped fresh fruit	Mint sprigs (opt)
pn Freshly grated nutmeg	Fruit slices (opt)

Instructions for Sparkling Fruit Smoothies

(From "Cooking Smart," by Sharon Tyler Herbst.) Combine the yogurt, fruit, and nutmeg in a blender; process until smooth. Pour into glasses, filling 3/4 full. Top off with champagne, sparkling water or ginger ale. Gently stir to combine. Garnish with mint sprigs or fruit slices, if desired. Serves 2.
