Suggest a better descriptionCream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and spices. Stir dry ingredients into creamed mixture. Fold in glace fruit. Spread batter in greased 11 x 7-inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven 25 minutes. While still warm, spread with Glaze. Cut into 24 bars. Powdered Sugar Glaze: Combine 1/2 cup unsifted C and H Powdered Sugar with 2 teaspoons water.
