Chicken Rice Soup Ingredients

1 lb Skinless boneless chicken; 1/4 c Chopped onions
5 c Water or chicken broth 1 c Frozen or canned mixed
8 oz Fresh mushrooms; sliced (2 5 ts Chicken flavor instant
3/4 c Sliced celery 5 Cubes (unless you use
1/2 c Sliced carrots 1/2 ts Ground sage
1/2 Raw rice 1/4 ts Pepper

Instructions for Chicken Rice Soup

In slow cooker, combine chicken, water or broth, vegetables and seasonings. Cover and cook on low setting 6-8 hours (or on high 4 hours). Makes 2 quarts, refrigerate leftovers. Posted to recipelu-digest Volume 01 Number 283 by James and Susan Kirkland on Nov 21, 1997
