Ginger-Glazed Salmon Ingredients

8 Pieces salmon filet or steak GREEN HERB SAUCE
GINGER GLAZE1/2 c Sour cream
2 tb Chopped fresh mint 2 c Loosely packed fresh
2 tb Soy sauce 2 c Loosely packed fresh mint
1 ts Grated lime peel 1/2 c Loosely packed fresh parsley
2 tb Fresh lime juice 2 Jalapeno chiles, minced
1 tb Firmly packed brown sugar 1 tb Fresh lime juice
1 ts Grated fresh ginger 1/4 ts Salt
1 ts Olive oil 1/2 ts Freshly ground pepper
1/2 ts Freshly ground pepper

Instructions for Ginger-Glazed Salmon

1. Make Ginger Glaze: Combine all glaze ingredients in small bowl. 2. Place salmon in shallow glass dish and spoon on glaze, turning to coat. (Can be made ahead. Refrigerate up to 24 hours.) 3. Heat broiler. Line jelly-roll pan with foil. Arrange salmon on prepared pan and spoon glaze on top. Broil 4 inches from heat without turning until fish is opaque throughout, 8 to 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve with Green Herb Sauce. Green Herb Sauce: Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth, scraping down sides. (Can be made ahead. Cover and refrigerate up to 8 hours.) Makes 1 1/4 cups.
