Spicy Poori Ingredients

2 1/2 c Whole wheat flour 2 tb Salt
1/2 c All-purpose white flour 4 tb Sesame seeds
1/4 c Chickpea flour; (gram flour 1 pn Sugar
2 ts Vegetable oil; heated 1 ts Tumeric
2 ts Cumin seeds 1 1/2 c Water
2 tb Red chili powder; (to taste) Vegetable oil for deep-fat

Instructions for Spicy Poori

Spicy poories are a delicious addition to a picnic and are good to have on hand for snacks. Mix all the ingredients and form them into a dough. Roll and cook as for plain poories. Posted to JEWISH-FOOD digest Volume 98 #007 by David Fillingham on 5 Ja, n 1998
