Poinsettia Sipper Ingredients
2 c
Cranberry
juice cocktail
3 Whole
cloves
2 c
Apple juice
2
Cinnamon
sticks, (3-inch)
1/2 c
Sugar
2 c Water
2 tb
Orange
juice
Orange
rind curls (optional)
Instructions for Poinsettia Sipper
Combine first 7 ingredients in a saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. Bring to a simmer; cover and cook 30 minutes. Remove cloves and cinnamon sticks from pan with a slotted spoon. Serve warm or chilled. Garnish with orange rind curls, if desired. Yield: 6 cups (serving size: 3/4 cup). Note: For a Poinsettia Cocktail, add 1 tablespoon vodka each serving; the calories go up to 150 per serving.
