Instructions for Chocolate Chip Kiss Cookies
Heat oven to 375F. Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces. In large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until well blended. Add flour, blend until smooth. Stir in small chocolate chips. Mold scant tablespoon dough around each chocolate piece, covering completely. Shape into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Drizzle topping over each cookie. About 4 dozen cookies. This is a delicious and easy cookie recipe. I did have to add an egg to the ingredients as the mixture was quite dry. Also you will need to have some extra flour for your hands as you are working with inserting the kiss inside the cookie. Made a batch this afternoon and haven't been able to keep "hubby" out of them. Thanks for posting, gretch. This is a definite keeper.
