Chocolate Chip Kiss Cookies Ingredients

1 cup Butter, softened 1 cup Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate mini chips
1/3 cup Granulated sugar 1 bag (9 oz.) Hershey's Kisses or kisses with almonds
1/3 cup Packed light brown sugar Chocolate Drizzle
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract 1/4 cup Hershey's semi-sweet mini baking chips
2 cups All-purpose flour 1 teaspoon Shortening

Instructions for Chocolate Chip Kiss Cookies

Heat oven to 375F. Remove wrappers from chocolate pieces. In large mixing bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until well blended. Add flour, blend until smooth. Stir in small chocolate chips. Mold scant tablespoon dough around each chocolate piece, covering completely. Shape into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Drizzle topping over each cookie. About 4 dozen cookies. This is a delicious and easy cookie recipe. I did have to add an egg to the ingredients as the mixture was quite dry. Also you will need to have some extra flour for your hands as you are working with inserting the kiss inside the cookie. Made a batch this afternoon and haven't been able to keep "hubby" out of them. Thanks for posting, gretch. This is a definite keeper.

Not sure why the ingredients are messed up from what I have on my personal "Big Oven" program and I can't figure out how to update this recipe. Here's the ingredients in my software! 1 bag (9 oz) Hershey's Kisses or Kisses with almonds brand chocolate 1 cup Butter or margarine, softened 1/3 cup Granulated sugar 1/3 cup Packed light brown sugar 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract 2 cup All-purpose flour 1 cup Hershey's Semi-sweet mini baking chips -- Chocolate Drizzle -- 1/4 cup Hershey's Semi-sweet mini baking chips 1 teaspoon Shortening GOOD LUCK! Hope you're able to read and enjoy! Again, I still haven't tried this yet, but loved the ones made for me - YUM!
