Chop Suey Chicken or Beef Ingredients

Butter
1/4 c
Cornstarch
3 c
Beef
or chicken; cooked
1 cn
Bean sprouts
2 c
Onion
; chopped
4 ts
Soy sauce
2 c
Celery
; chopped
Brown
gravy; to color
2 c Hot water
1 ds Salt and
pepper
2/3 c Cold water
Instructions for Chop Suey Chicken or Beef
Melt butter. Add meat, onions, celery, salt and pepper to taste, saute til wilted. Add hot water, cover and cook. Add rinsed bean sprouts, and stir. Heat to boiling. Add flavoring and thickening ingredients, stir lightly, cook five minutes more.
