Cream of Wild Rice Soup Ingredients

2 tb Butter or margarine 2 c Chicken broth
1 c Chopped onion 2 c Milk
1 1/2 tb Flour 1/4 ts Thyme leaves; crushed
2 c Water

Instructions for Cream of Wild Rice Soup

Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender, but not brown. Stir in flour. Gradually stir in water, broth and milk. Add contents of rice and seasoning packets and thyme; stir. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
