Creole Sauce Ingredients

1 c Sliced okra 1 1/2 c Chili sauce
Oil Louisiana hot sauce
1 c Drained, canned It. tomatoes 3 Medium Green Peppers
Garlic 1 1/2 c Sherry
2 c Finely chopped onions

Instructions for Creole Sauce

Combine the sliced okra with the tomatoes, chopped onions, and the green peppers chopped and saute for a few minutes in garlic-flavored oil. Add a dash or two of Louisiana hot sauce, the chili sauce, and the sherry (ordinary). Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Cool slightly and blend in a blender.
