Crostini Caprese Ingredients

2 Garlic cloves, crushed or 150 g Mozzarella, sliced
4 tb Olive oil 8 Anchovy filets, optional
8 sl Italian bread 16 Basil leaves
150 g Tomatoes, sliced

Instructions for Crostini Caprese

I found this in a German magazine while doing research for my book of refreshing summer drinks with and without alcohol. Add the garlic to the olive oil and brush the bread with this mixture. Put under a hot grill until golden. Place the tomato slices, anchovies, basil leaves and Mozzarella onto the bread and put back under the grill until the cheese starts to melt.
