Deep-Dish Brownies Ingredients
3/4 c Butter or
margarine
melted
3
Eggs
1 1/2 c
Sugar
3/4 c All purpose
flour
1 1/2 c
Sugar
1/2 ts
Baking powder
1 1/2 ts
Vanilla
extract
1/2 ts
Salt
Instructions for Deep-Dish Brownies
Heat oven to 350F Grease 8 inch square baking pan. In medium bowl blend butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; using spoon, beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until welll blended. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the side of the pan. Cool completely; cut into squares. (16 brownies) Variation Stir one cup of Reeses peanut butter Chips or Hersheys Semi sweet chocolate chips into batter. From Geminis MASSIVE MealMaster collection at www.synapse.com/~gemini
