I've made this in the past for the kids. I had forgotten all about this until I just saw this recipe again. The kids really liked it. I think I originally heard about it on nickjr, or noggin. I'll have to make this for the kids for breakfast tomorrow, I bet they'll be excited!

I really love this breakfast treat! Food is so much more fun when it has a whimsical vibe to it. I tried to do this once in a very thick brioche and it didn't turn out too well. So, be wary if you cut your own slice of bread not to make it too thick!

Known by many names, this classic kid's favorite has always been a quick fix breakfast that's fun to serve, and good to eat.
