Suggest a better descriptionFrom: Kattwoman1@aol.com Date: Fri, 23 Feb 1996 17:42:22 -0500 Grease twelve 2 1/2-inch muffin cups; set aside. In a large bowl combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, the baking powder, nutmeg, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Make a well in the center. In a small bowl combine egg, milk, and 1/3 cup margarine. Add to flour mixture. Stir JUST TILL MOISENED (batter should be lumpy). Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling each 2/3 full. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or till golden. Meanwhile, combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon. Immediatly dip tops of muffins into remaining melted margarine, then into cinnamon-sugar mixture. Serve warm. Makes 12 muffins.
