Frog Eye Salad Ingredients
1/2 c
Sugar
2 c Mandarin
orange
slices
1 tb
Flour
16 oz
Pineapple
slices; drained
1/4 ts
Salt
16 oz Crushed
pineapple
; drained
7/8 c
Pineapple
juice
1 1/2 c Miniature marshmellows
2
Egg
yolks; beaten
9 oz
Cool
whip
1 c Acini de pepe macaroni;
1 c
Coconut
; shredded
Instructions for Frog Eye Salad
Cook over low heat until thick sugar, salt, flour, pineapple juice and egg yolks. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Cool under water. Combine above ingredients and refrigerate overnight. Tootie Notes: I have tossed in raisins, pecans chopped fine, walnuts chopped fine and so on with out a problem. Quick easy and good.
