Frosted Chocolate Drops Ingredients

1/2 c Butter or margarine; soft 1/2 c Milk
1/2 c Granulated sugar 1 c Quaker Oats, uncooked
1/2 c Brown sugar, firmly packed (quick or oldfashioned)
1 Egg FROSTING
3 oz Unsweetened chocolate 2 tb Butter; soft
melted and cooled1 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Soda 3 tb Milk
1/2 ts Salt FOR DECORATION
1/2 c Dairy sour cream Pecan halves

Instructions for Frosted Chocolate Drops

Beat butter and sugars together until creamy. Blend in egg and melted chocolate. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream and milk. Stir in oats. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cooky sheets. Bake in preheated moderate oven (375 F.) 10 to 12 minutes; cool. For frosting, combine all ingredients. Beat until smooth and of spreading consistency. Frost cooled cookies. Top each cooky with a pecan half.
