Suggest a better descriptionPeel bananas; cut each in half crosswise. Insert wooden stick into cut end of each banana half. Brush all sides of each half with apple sauce. Gently roll in granola to coat. Place on waxed paper-lined pan; freeze until firm. (For more even coating, repeat procedure, brushing apple sauce and rolling in granola. Freeze until firm). Wrap individually in foil or plastic wrap; store in freezer. Thaw slightly before serving. VARIATION: Chocolate Banana Apple Pops: Prepare as directed above, freezing bananas until firm. In small microwave-safe bowl, microwave 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon shortening on 50% (Medium) for 2 to 3 minutes or until chips are glossy and can be stirred smooth. Spoon melted chocolate over half of each banana. Sprinkle with additional granola. Place on waxed paper-lined pan; freeze until firm. Notes: Pantry: Motts Natural or Cinnamon Apple Sauce.
