Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix as package directs. Pour batter into well greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan. In small mixer bowl, beat cheese, margarine and cornstarch until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk then egg and vanilla until smooth. Pour evenly over cake batter. Bake 50-55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool thoroughly. Glaze or garnish as desired. I made this cake and it was simply moist and delicious. I will make this again. The ribbon reminds me of the Italian Love Cake that I often make and get rave reviews. This cake is wonderful. My 12 year old ate it up and she is not a cake lover. Love it. 5 Stars!
YES, I would make this recipe again.
