Hawaiian Lau Laus Ingredients

RECIPE FOR RICE COOKER1 ts MSG, optional *
1 pk (10 oz) frozen leaf spinach, 2 tb Seasoned salt
1 1/2 lb Pork OR chicken, cut in 1 Cube butter or margarine,
1 1/2 lb Boneless white fish, cut in

Instructions for Hawaiian Lau Laus

Cut foil into 6" pieces. Sprinkle MSG and seasoned salt over meat. Pour melted butter over fish. On each piece of foil place a piece of meat, fish, and a pinch of spinach. Fold over foil to form an envelope and seal. Place steaming plate into Hitachi Food Steamer and pour in 1/2 cup water. Arrange foil packages on top of steaming plate. Cover and cook until chime rings. Serve hot, allowing each guest to unwrap his/her own lau laus. Time 15-20 minutes. MARYS NOTES * I DONT USE MSG!!! It causes an allergic reaction for many people. GRILL These can also be placed on the outside edges of your Weber grill and allowed to cook for 20-30 minutes (covered), while preparing other things on the grill.
