1 c Sour cream 2 ts Dill; fresh or
Lemon; juice only 2 Apples; medium; tart
1/2 c Yogurt 1/2 ts Dillweed; dried
1/4 ts Sugar 8 Herring fillets; marinated

From: kmeade@ids2.idsonline.com (The Meades) Date: Thu, 23 May 1996 21:41:55 -0400 Sauce: Blend thoroughly sour cream, yogurt, lemon juice and sugar. Salad: Peel onions and cut into thin slices. Peel and quarter apples, remove cores and but into thin wedges. Blend onions and apples with sauce. In a dish arrange herring and apple-onion mixture in layers. Cover tightly and marinate in refrigerator for 5 hours. Sprinkle with dill before serving. Posted to Master Cook Recipes List, Digest #96
