This taco seasoning has a very good balance of ingredients. I like to make it because I can control the amount of salt. It makes good tacos.

Tasted exactly like the seasoning at fast-food restaurants or in pre-prepared packets -- minus the chemicals and preservatives. Instead of the instant garlic and onion, I used onion powder and fresh garlic. I tossed all of the ingredients in a mortar and pestle; delicious.

My wife and I both enjoy Taco's about once every couple months. I don't like the chemicals that go into the commercial mixes and when I found this one I decided to try it. Has the taste and spicy flavour we like without the chemicals. Will be using this one from now on. Since being put on a low sodium diet I cut the salt in half with not noticable change in taste.
