Suggest a better descriptionThe following recipes are reprinted from the Cinnamon Hearts Newsletter (Apr 96). 1. Melt the butter and honey in a 9x13-inch pan. Mix well. Beat the eggs, juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together. Soak the bread slices in the egg mixture, but DO NOT let the bread become so wet that it falls apart. 2. Arrange the slices close together on top of the honey/butter mixture. Bake about 20 minutes at 400F, until set. Invert the toast when serving. Sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar, if desired, or serve with more honey.. Diabetics: Be sure to calculate any extra into your program. 3.
