I've got a really big pot of lemon grass now.  I bought a little stalk of it at the grocery store, cut off the end, sprouted it in water (that took a while -- was it treated it to prevent sprouting?), planted it in dirt, and grew it outside all summer.  Now, it is inside, waiting for the weather to get warmer.

 

Maybe I'll try galangal the next time I see it!
