This is my interpretation of the original Green Goddess recipe, created circa 1920's at San Francisco's Palace Hotel. Without question, this is one of the best salad dressing I have ever put in my mouth. Use it on any mixed or green salad, however I think that thick dressings such as this are especially good dripping down wedges of iceberg lettuce. Very versatile, it's also excellent as a dressing in chicken, shrimp, or lobster salads; makes a phenomenal dip for raw or steamed veggies; is great used in place of mayonnaise on your favorite sandwich.
This cake is extremely moist. It's my most requested recipe!
Oriental style dipping sauce for all sort of occaisions, especially suited to tempura seafood, & fried entree dishes or to get away from the dreaded tomato sauce on chips or fries. This is a tangy little number! I make it up a lot when I go into sushi bars. I first encountered it in a Japanese resaurant in the heart of Melbourne. I make it 2 different ways depending on the quality of mayonnaise available.
After seeing a national restaurant chain come out with this, it looked so good I had to prepare a homemade version. Use a BIG spatula to turn these burgers on the grill or pan, although they shouldn't break apart, because the ingredients make them firm. You'll need a big appetite to finish a whole one of these! TIP: After forming your burgers, press down the center of the burger with your fingertips to compress it a little, to within 1 to 1 1/2" of the edge of the burger. While grilling/frying, this will allow the burger to remain flat on top, instead of a bulging disc that lets the other ingredients fall off.

This is the classic sauce with a seafood salad
This simple potato salad is very good with summer barbecues. It is also delicious tossed with a mustard vinaigrette instead of the mayonnaise dressing.
