Interesting study re: Portions
We've all seen, at least here in the US, that restaurant portions have grown year over year. Here's an interesting study that showed that many recipes, too, have shown portion and calorie-creep.

Interesting Data from National Merit Scholarship Corp.
A survey of (United States) National Merit Scholars from the past 20 years had this in common: without exception, they came from families who ate dinner together three or more nights a week. More Americans Getting High Blood Pressure
Article in Reuters today: "More Americans Getting High Blood Pressure". Nearly 60% of Americans have abnormal blood pressure, only 41% have "normal" blood pressure. Wow.
