Subject: Experimenting with sugar-free syrup

I've been experimenting with sugar-free syrup and have written up some of the results.

I'll be posting the Ginger-Lime Spritzer recipe as soon as I get it written up and take some pictures.

That's a very clever idea.  I'm not surprised that Splenda is the only artificial sweetener that will create a syrup.  Its molecules are kind of shaped like sugar molecules. 
 
The only other no-carb simple syrup recipes I see on the web are from "Blaine", who  has a low-carb cooking show.  He doesn't specify which sweetener to use in his key lime pie recipe, though several viewers have commented that he uses sucralose.
